In the old days they named their hot rods, maybe this is a good name.
If you like cars or bikes you need to visit roadsters.com . Here's a quote I found there.
"Now I've been to church and I've been to the drags, and brothers and sisters, for those of you who have never heard a Hemi on nitro, get thee to the drag strip when the Fuel guys are running. Get thee a pit pass, and bring thyself to a Fuel car being tuned up. Listen to the overwhelming sound of what must be the closest thing you can hear in this life to The Sound Of God. Reach out, brothers and sisters, and bask in the glory of the almighty Hemi. For I have heard the Hemi speak. And I believe! I believe." - Dave Mann

When I was in high school I worked for a rancher, moving sprinkler pipe.
This coupe was on the hill beyond his hay fields. He never would sell it to me
then. I called him 25 years later and he made me a
pretty decent deal. I think this is where the hemi will reside.
The Keith Black oil pump is probably over kill for this engine, but it should look more like a gasser that way.
This is a pretty nice view. Maybe this car won't have fenders after all. If I decide to add fenders, I am leaning towards an earlier model year. I prefer the front fenders that dont wrap around, and down, so far. Something like a 1931 or 1932. The grille shell is not angled back as far as the 1933-1934 however. Maybe I can get some time to work on this car again soon.
The trans output shaft is set at the elevation of the top of the frame rail. I chose to raise the engine so it would look more like a Gasser. The drive shaft will be approximately 30" long.
